Students learn how to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of technology systems while developing the problem-solving skills employers expect in entry-level IT professionals.
The course covers essential IT support concepts, including PC hardware, operating systems, virtualization, networking technologies, mobile device management, and security best practices. With a strong emphasis on real-world application, students participate in guided labs and technical exercises that simulate common workplace scenarios and help reinforce classroom instruction.
By the end of IT Foundations, students will be prepared to pursue the CompTIA A+ Core 1 and Core 2 certification exams.
