About the Instructor
Blair Perry has spent 11 years working education — both as a teacher and a leader. After a year teaching abroad, I spent seven years at The Collegiate School of Memphis where I served in various roles, including three years as the Technology Director. For the past two years, I’ve worked with Capstone Education Group at Cornerstone Prep Academy in both Binghampton and Frayser. My roles there revolved mostly around planning, development, and operations.
Teaching runs in my family. Both of my parents and two of my siblings have spent time as teachers — and we all love to learn. Ultimately, my love for teaching comes directly out of this love for learning. Every lesson I prepare teaches me something new. I get tremendous joy in sharing this love for learning with my students.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, three kids, and our dog. We love to be outside — whether it be to play backyard sports, do some yard work, or hike through the woods. Beyond that, I enjoy hobbies that allow me to express some of my inner-creativity. This includes everything from woodworking to cooking to simulation and strategy games (e.g. SimCity and Power Grid).
