IT Networking offers training and prep for the Cisco CCENT certification validates the skills required for entry-level network support positions, the starting point for many successful careers in networking. Cisco CCENT certified professionals have the knowledge and skill to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security.
The Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician is a certification concentrating on network fundamentals, LAN switching technologies, routing technologies, infrastructure services, and infrastructure maintenance.

About the Instructor
Aaron Lamey is a Memphis native who has used Information Technology to support educators throughout the city. From smart boards in pre-school classrooms, to one-to-one programs in junior high, or network infrastructure in high school and university campuses, Aaron’s project management skills and IT knowledge have bolstered the IT Infrastructure at a variety of organizations throughout town. Aaron also has strong teaching credentials, having been an adjunct professor in both the Management Information Systems (MIS)/Business Information Technology (BIT) department at the University of Memphis for two years and in the MIS department at Christian Brothers University (CBU) for one year.
Aaron holds a B. A. in English for Corporate Communications and Management from CBU and an M.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in MIS from the University of Memphis. He holds Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA), and Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications that are active.
